College Rules

  • The college gives utmost priority for discipline and every one, student or staff, is bound to follow the rules and regulations of the college and maintain strict discipline.
  • Under disciplinary action, the disciplinary committee is empowered to fine, suspend or even expel a student from the college in the interests of the institution.
  • Students are not permitted to listen music or song on Mobile Phones inside the college campus.
  • Every Student shall conduct himself / herself in such a way to cause no disturbance to the working of the classes or to fellow students.
  • RAGGING, CONSUMING ALCOHOL AND SMOKING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE HOSTEL AND COLLEGE CAMPUS.
  • No function shall be arranged by the students in the hostel or college campus without prior permission from the principal.
  • Students are not allowed to exchange greeting cards, photographs, gift articles or letters, with Students of opposite sex.
  • Writing on walls, pillars, bath rooms and furniture or black boards is strictly prohibited.
  • The cost of any damage, if caused to college property will be charged to the accounts of the students responsible for the damage in addition to disciplinary action.
  • Students are advised to switch off fans and lights when they leave the class rooms.
  • Furniture in the class rooms should not be moved or displaced.
  • Students are not allowed to attend classes or any college function wearing shorts.
  • No one will be allowed to whistle, hoot, shout or sing aloud in college campus or while travelling in the bus. They are also not allowed to throw papers or other articles while travelling.
  • No students shall remain in the hostel during class – hours unless he / she is sick and is permitted to be on leave.
  • Students have to take without fail all the necessary items such as hall ticket, admit card, pen, pencil, calculator, Scale, rubber, etc., to the test / exam hall.
  • Birthday Celebration in the college premises is not permitted.ectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Hostel Rules

The hostel inmates are hereby instructed strictly to follow the rules and regulations mentioned below :

  • Ragging within or outside the hostel or college is strictly prohibited.
  • The students should maintain overall cleanliness in individual room as well as in the premises of the hostel. Throwing litter carelessly, spitting in the corridors etc. will be held as acts of uncleanliness.
  • Hostel furniture should not be moved from one room to another without permission.
  • The student should not act in a way which will cause damage to the hostel property.
  • Any damage to the building, furniture and mess utensils of the hostel will be recovered by imposing heavy fine.
  • Maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in the hostel vicinity is necessary. Playing games inside the hostel building, playing radio, tape-recorder and musical instruments loudly will be considered as an act of indiscipline.
  • Hostel inmates are responsible for keeping their rooms, common areas and bathrooms clean and tidy at all times.
  • The student should enter the hostel before 10.15 pm.
  • All the students should be present in hostel from 10.15 pm. to 6.00 am.
  • The students who are going on leave (At least for one night) should take prior permission from the Warden / Rector & must do the entry in the register while going out and coming inside the hostel. No student is permitted to leave the hostel without consent of parents.
  • While going outside the hostel premises, the inmates should maintain discipline and their behavior and conduct should be impeccable so as to keep up the honour and prestige of the College. If there is any complaint against any of the inmates regarding his / her misbehavior, severe disciplinary action will be taken, which may even lead to expulsion from the Hostel or College.
  • Inmates are not permitted to organize any picnic or pleasure trip without the permission of the principal. No unauthorized meetings or activities are permitted in the premises of the hostels. Any such meeting or activity will be viewed very seriously and action which may include dismissal from the Hostel will be taken against the organizers.
  • In order to reach the classes in time, all students residing in the hostels should start from the hostel at 10 minutes before the stroke of the bell both in the forenoon and in the afternoon. Late arrival in the class will be viewed seriously and such students may be asked to vacate the hostel in the event of repeated violation of the rule.
  • Water and electricity should be used economically. Switch off the light and fan while going out of the room. Use of the electrical appliances viz., iron, water heater, etc. is strictly prohibited. Heavy fine will be charged if the students are found using such appliances and they will be liable for dismissal from the hostel.
  • Guests / day scholars are not allowed to stay in the hostels. Action will be taken against if any guest / day scholar is found in the rooms.
  • The students are advised not to keep any valuables (Mobile, watch, money etc.) in the hostel room. In case they keep such things in the hostel, they will do so at their own risk and responsibility.
  • Consumption of alcoholic drinks, tobacco, smoking etc. is strictly prohibited.
  • Birthday Parties and Get-together in the hostel are not permitted.
  • If anybody is found in infringement of security guard instructions, misbehaving in the hostel premises, which will damage the image of the college, shall be punished.
  • The right to admit or cancel the hostel admission and to frame new rules, if required, is reserved with the authority to maintain peaceful, secured, and healthy atmosphere in the hostel premises.
  • The student should strictly obey the instructions and rules given above. Violation of any of the above rules by the student, shall be dealt with disciplinary action to the extent of even expelling him from the Hostel/College, in that case the decision of the Disciplinary Committee shall be final and binding for the student and his parents.
