Basic Electrical Engineering & Basic Circuit Theory

Name of Laboratory In charge : Prof Khadatare Mauli Ramchandra _ M.Tech. (Control Syatem)

The area of Basic Electrical Engineering Lab & Basic Circuit Theory Lab in sq. meters 84.42. There is sufficient space for every student to work in the laboratory. About 20 students can do practical at a glance. U-table is provided for keeping the files and other electrical equipment such as wattmeter, multi-meter, voltmeter, ammeter, connecting wires etc. We are provided experimental table/working table along with supply. Separate cabin for the faculty & lab.

Other facilities include fans and tube lights are provided so that practical can be performed easily and in working atmosphere. Laboratories are kept clean and well maintained regularly. Each laboratory is under the supervision of lecturer in-charge appointed by principal every year.

Control Systems Laboratory

Name of Laboratory In charge : Prof. Waghmode A.D.( M.Tech. in Electrical Engg)

The Control Systems Laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering contains a variety of laboratory equipment used in study, design and experimentation of feedback control systems. The topics studied in this lab include principles of feedback control system, Synchro and Potentiometer as a transducer and error detector, Application oriented D.C/A.C servo position control, study of Time and Frequency response of First and Second order Control Systems and effects of control systems with P,PI,PD & PID controllers

Electrical and Electronics Measurement lab

Name of Laboratory In charge : Prof. Waghmode A. D. M.Tech. in Electrical Engg.

The area of lab is 84.42 sq. meter there is sufficient space for every student to work in the laboratory about 10 students can do practical at a glance. U-table is provided with proper compartment for keeping the measuring instrument like Ammeter, voltmeter, Practical Kits etc.

Topic covered in this lab are measurement of Resistance, capacitance, inductances AC & DC power. Laboratories are kept clean and well maintained regularly. Each laboratory is under the supervision of lecturer in-charge appointed by principal every year.

  • Kelvins Double Bridge for measurement of low resistance
  • Schering Bridge for measurement of capacitance
  • Deflecting type Wheatstone bridge for measurement of high resistance
  • Null type Wheatstone bridge for measurement of light resistance

Electrical Machine-Lab

Name of Laboratory In charge : Prof. Suryagan A. A. M.Tech. in Electrical Engg.

The area of lab is 118.8 sq.meter. There is sufficient space for every student to work in the laboratory about 20 students can do practical at a glance. U-table is provided with proper compartment for keeping the measuring instrument like Ammeter, voltmeter, cables, wires. Patch cods, tachometer etc. There are several panels for the each practical which is properly secured with MCB to avoid electric shock in the case of emergency.

Other facilities include electric supply on each panel, fans and tube lights are provided. so that practical’s can be performed easily and in working atmosphere. Laboratories are kept clean and well maintained regularly. Each laboratory is under the supervision of lecturer in-charge appointed by principal every year.

Power Electronics Lab

Name of Laboratory In charge : Prof. Ujanikar P.P. - M.Tech. (Control Syatem)

The lab aims at imparting practical knowledge of Power Electronics to the students at various levels i.e. B.Tech and M.Tech. It is accordingly well equipped with equipment’s and trainer kits to teach practical from fundamentals to high level concepts to the students.Learn the characteristics of different types of power electronic device understand and analyze the operation of controlled rectifiers, choppers & inverters.

Area of lab in sq meters is 81.There is sufficient space for every student to work in the laboratory about 20 students can do practical at a glance.
